(A) "PROJECT 2019 JAX" was founded in order to promote the ideals and further the Mission of Project 2019.
(B) PROJECT 2019 JAX MISSION STATEMENT
((1)) The MISSION of Project 2019 Jax is to elevate the socioeconomic status of black Americans in Jacksonville, Florida.
((2)) The MAJOR GOAL of Project 2019 Jax is to increase the level of formal education attained by black Americans in Jacksonville to the same level of formal education attained by white Americans in Jacksonville.
((3)) The PRIMARY OBJECTIVES of Project 2019 Jax are
(a) to convince black Americans in Jacksonville to embrace the truism "knowledge is power,"
(b) to convince black Americans in Jacksonville that the best way to acquire knowledge is through formal education, and
(c) to motivate black Americans in Jacksonville to increase the level of formal education attained by black Americans in Jacksonville.
((4)) The MEASUREMENT of the success of Project 2019 Jax will be the percentage of black Americans in Jacksonville who earn college degrees versus the percentage of white Americans in Jacksonville who earn college degrees.
((5)) The COMPLETION DATE for the goals and objectives of Project 2019 Jax is the year 2019.
